i'm a bear. so there.

baby its cold outside and i wish i was a bear so i could hibernate all through winter and not leave the house if i didnt want to and what would be really neat would be to have a job that didnt require me to leave the house like my friend jason who is a web designer and boasts to me about how cool it is to work in his pjs all day long and im thinking jason is very lucky that he wasnt born way earlier and had ambitions of being a web designer in the 60s because computers in those times had minor roles only in b-grade sci-fi movies and they certainly werent commonplace in homes and online simply referred to clothes hanging in the sun before being neatly folded or ironed and web designers were nothing more than eight-legged arthropods that weaved intricate traps to capture insects and so jason is very lucky and its still so very cold outside and im pretending to be a bear which explains why there are no full stops or even any semicolons because bears dont know how to correctly follow the adverbial conjunction rule anyway and even if they did they wouldnt bother with trivial matters such as punctuation while hibernating says the bear with a sore head

above are a few bears that im currently smitten with and i had intended to also share pics of my brisstlye market purchases but having to wake up for work when it is still dark and then arriving home close to dark ive not yet had an opportunity to take photos and now that im a big grizzly bear and i have these big clumsy bear paws im finding it tricky to operate a camera but with practice i hope to have it all figured out soon

Without any punctuation it was a challenge to read, yet well worth the struggle and going blue in the face for! Clever bear!

I missed participating in last SSS but thankfully caught some shadows yesterday so I'm all set now for this week! Hoorah!

I had to smile because I grew up in the 60's. Fond memories:)

Sorry that it is so cold. I'm a warm weather fan myself. Love your bear selections!

Cute bear pictures. I wish I could hibernate through the rain that we are currently having. Stay warm.

Cute entry! It's so hard for me to imagine it cold outside right now! We've been having heat waves so horrible that I can't go outside (which would explain my recent lack of shadow shots).

Stay "beary" warm ;-)

Does it honestly get really cold in Brisbane? Heeehhhe, we are big chooks with the cold in Australia. I certainly get the darkness issues though, it is getting a little lighter at night now.
Thanks for including me amongst your lovely bears!.

Oh it will be summer soon just you wait and see and then it will be winter here and I will be getting up and coming home in the dark. I really hate that! In the National Maritime Museum there is an acrtic explorer's suit completely made out of bearskin. You might need that! Love the bear art though, at least that is cheerful!

Love the grumblings and muttering of Harriet Bear! Such a fun post!

Simone ~ No I didn't have a stall at the BrisStyle market. Glad you went along. Hope you enjoyed it :)

Hey, it was tiring reading a post without full stops! Is it that time of the year already...seems like not long ago I read a 'grumble grumble' post on the cold. Brrrrrrrr..I can almost feel the chill here, at the mountains it was about maybe 13 - 15 celcius and that was freezing for me..I can't imagine anything colder than that ;p ...nor survive any winter either. 'However'..the weather is 34 celcius today here and just so damn hot, whew..thought you should know I am roasting under the sun hehe :P

i would like to be a bear too as this style of writing would be much more comfortable to me as well and i wouldn't have to be embearassed when i have trouble spelling because who really expects a bear to be able to spell anyhow and no one would expect me to know what the adverbial conjunction rule is either they would just be impressed that i could write at all i would need to learn how to stop a sentence without a period tho did i say cool art i already am good at hibernating tho even when its warm and i work in my pjs sometimes too hey can we start writing like this all the time

I adore bears, they are so beautiful and somehow similar to us... Yours are wonderful, so expressive.

Bears are the best! You funny thing Tracy!!! I can't imagine it getting too cold up in Brisbane - really? It gets terribly cold here in Sydney from time to time because we get the wind off the snowy Blue Mountains. The longer days I am just hanging out for - there's something a little bleak about it getting dark at 5pm!! These are gorgeous bears by the way - Julia Potts and Emma are two major talents IMO!

Yes I'm bear like too...but all year! Lovin my cave...

Did I also boast about how I get to sleep in until noon? Your are such a grumble bum in winter. Maybe we should resume our friendship in spring? Just kidding! I still like you when your crabby!

I've never left a comment on a blog before. Hope it works!

It worked! I could have some fun with this! Especially seeing there is an 'anonymous' option ;D

i love those cheerful bears. i think if i stayed in my pj's all day i'd get nothing done!

twinklestarart said...

Hahaha! Very funny bear you are! I even felt pressure growing inside my head from holding my breath while reading your punctuationless post.

I think we should become bears! it seems so unnatural climbing out of bed when it's cold and dark. I'll have to tell those noisy baby bears to go back to bed, there's NO PORRIDGE! Goldie Locks ate all the porridge in the world, now she's so fat that she blocked out the sun and it's forever night so GO HIBERNATE and let Mumma bear sleep!

twinklestarart said...

Unless there's a cupcake! I will get out of bed for a cupcake ;D

Wonderful illustrations! Brisstlye Market sounds very interesting too... looking forward to it!

You seems a cuddly grizzy bear, T! §:-))

Is it really cold downunder? Or your just kidding me? It's summer up here but you know what? We had regn the whole week after the other week with such a sunny one. Mind you, lady? It's only 13 deg and it's summer. It's your winter temp. He he...

Yeah, how I wish human being winter lair too & just chilling out the whole winter time. Ahh! now am going to far but, dream is free.

Have a wonderful & blissful w/end T and see you soon.

xoxo

i think that hibernation is a splendid idea when winter rolls around. we should just take the winter off from work. then in the spring and summer work a two day week and spend the rest of the time on whatever our heart desires. ahhh...only in dreamland..
great post tracy, thanks for the dream.

Hey, the bear and I have alot in common..I get ugly as one when the winter comes and this past month with all the rain, I wasn't much better.
It is awful when the dark starts early, morning/night. Don't picture you as a grizzly..just a nice little brown bear, trying to hibernate.

MyMaracas said...

What a fun post! I adore the bear artworks, and your text is a wonderful match for it.

It seems so strange that you're in the depths of winter while we're enjoying long summer days. I know what you mean about never seeing the sun though.

I worked from home for years, and yes -- it is awesome. Definitely do that if you can possibly find a way.
