Here's my Shadow Shot Sunday #114

A bunch of nicely restored vintage bikes and their shadows were found in West End during the week at this awesome not-for-profit inner-city co-operative...

And some lovely shadowy graffiti also at The Bicycle Revolution premises.

Happy Sunday!

Love the words on wall...very otherworldly...and fun bicycles, my 82 year old Dad still rides his...wish I had time!

Have a wonderful Sunday Tracy

Terrific update to your blog! Love those bikes and the words on the wall! Great shadows as always, Tracy! And thanks for the fun every week -- one of the brightest spots! Have a lovely weekend!

The simple yet intricate workings of bicyles are more pronounced in their shadows here.

Imagine riding a seahorse!

Bikes make very pretty shadows! Who would have thunk it? Do you ride around a lot on your island? I imagine you would! By the way, I'm enjoying your posts about your neck of the woods. I like seeing your beautiful surrounds! The farmers market post below is particularly great looking!

Hope you are well and enjoying your weekend! Thank you for popping my grass in your collages - honoured as always!!! XOXO's

Way cool vintage bikes! And, I LOVE the shadow graffiti. I was at an art show yesterday where the artist scratched the image onto Plexiglass and lit the plexi so that the scratched image cast a shadow which in turn looked just like a graphite drawing. Amazing shadow stuff out there!

very cool vintage bikes!!!

happy sss tracy...have a great week ahead...see you next weekend.

Super shadow shots - not that you would ever catch me on a bike!! Brilliant photos of the market - I want all those goodies and I want them now!! Thanks for putting me in the collage - have a good week, love, Anne x

The old bicycles are of a bygone era, styled and heavy. Sure a modern bike if more efficient with 21 speeds, etc. I am reminded of my childhood, I had a red Columbia. So attractive.

I never knew that graffiti could be so sentimental!

Clytie said...

Wonderful bicycle shadows! And someone is so right - bicycle revolution!

I would like to use the graffiti (heart) shot as a feature on Guest Heart Thursday sometime. May I?

The line up of bike shadows is very striking! But the dreamer in me favours the graffiti! Love the romantic idea of riding a seahorse! I wish!

And thank you for including my last week's shadow shot in one of your collages! You do such great work doing the rounds collecting our photos for this presentation!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Like these bike ShadowShots. That love note on the wall (in shadow!) is soooo romantic. Thanks for that...I'm gonna send it to my hubby who is, once again, in Phoenix.

That graffiti is great!

Tracy girl you made me think of Pee Wee Herman's Big Adventure of the bike nature ? haha
Vintage bikes are beautiful as are their shadows ! .. I loved that sea horse comment on the wall .. I am a sea horse fan and of course also of the lesser known sea dragon .. aren't they amazing ?
I think it is serendipity that comment and my shadow shot are of a "sea" theme .. now how odd is that ?

I like your bike shadows! The Bicycle Revolution sounds like a cool idea.

I had a tough time finding the Mr. Linky link. It showed up as a small white rectangle. Maybe the link to the image is not working.

Bikes make great shadows don't they? Love that graffiti too!

Beautiful shadow gallery! I'm especially in love with Sam's flowers and your last poem graffiti art.

Wishing you a wonderful new week dear Tracey!

I also love the vintage bikes you found, Tracy.

I'm late but I'm here. ;-)

The seahorse graffiti is cool. It reminds me of our daughter, who told me when she was very little she had a dream about riding a seahorse to the moon.

This week I'm using pix from a friend.

Hope you have a great week ahead!

Bikes make wonderful shadows and I love that they are being donated! The graffiti is too cool to be considered "graffiti" if you know what I mean.

Thanks for posting my photo!

Take care & God bless!
