Here's my Shadow Shot Sunday #159

Some mid-morning shadows decorating a pathway in Southbank that runs beside the Brisbane river. The dark area in the river is the shadow cast from the Victoria Bridge. It was a lovely warm day regardless of the arrival of winter this week.
Sorry for there being no inclusion of the
Shadow Gallery this week as I didn't get a chance to create it. Next week it will be back as usual and now that things have thankfully slowed down a little I'm really looking forward to catching up with shadow shootin' blogs again! Woohoo! I've missed visiting you guys!

It seems as though the mysterious and inviting pathway curves--to where? Only by following it will I know...
A graceful fence and companion shadow.
Glad you can slow down a bit and enjoy winter.
Wonderful composition and color, very painterly. I would be framing this one.
Hi Tracy! I didn't get around to posting last week, but I'm back.
Love the rich colors in your photo this week. Very cool, and very warm! haha
Thanks for hosting, as always.
Have a great week hunting for shadows.
This is so wonderfully dreamy!
* Correction: Just realized I missed two weeks in a row. Time just flies by.
Oh, my!! That is an absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS image!! This is one where shadow shots meets fine art. Truly a work of art. Well done!!
Ciao Tracy!
Back from Italy, our stuff from Casa arrived, our home is one big mess but I'm back to SSS! :)
As Patti says, your pic is rich of colors, yes.
Happy & sunny Sunday from Helsinki!
Hi Tracy,
I've missed a few weeks too, but I'm back. I really have missed seeing everybody's shadows.
I love the photo that you posted today ... it is a true work of art.
Have a wonderful week, and thanks so much for giving us SSS!
Kathy M.
such rich colours! Beautiful photograph. Have a great week!
Great shadow shot as always, Tracy, and another fun weekend filled with beautiful shadows, thanks to your wonderful blog! Hope you have a chance to catch your breath this weekend! Enjoy!
Sylvia
A nicely curved shadow.
I love the colours in this shot!
Good morning dear hostess and happy SSS AND Winter to you! I really like the way the redwood contrasts with the railing shadows and green water in this photo.
I can never figure out how you get all the shadow arranging done here and yet find time to visit our blogs. You're amazing!!
Tracy, this one is magnificent. Very satisfying, makes me want to look at it for a long time. And the colors!
Beautiful, Tracy!
And missing the Shadow Gallery for a week will make us appreciate it all the more next week!

Tracy, Such an interesting shot--I love the colors and the fence casts a great shadow--very nice. Have a great week. Mickie :)
I think the shadow makes the walkway look as if it has a peak in the middle!
Tracy girl I love the depth of colour and the warm impression of the wood with the rail dividing that blue water yet merging the look of it all together .. very cool shot !
Joy
I like the curve of the railing and the shadow it makes. Interesting light too.
Lovely colours and lines in that picture Tracy!
Cool colorful composition.
These days seem to be very busy. Last week I didn't get the chance for a post.
There is such movement and fluidity to the image. I`d love to be standing there looking out over the water at the bridge. Happy SSS.
Interesting shadows. :) LG TIna
The colors are rich and earthy in this photo. And the shadows and white fence accentuate the beautiful curves.
So winter's arrived there? Looks like autumn is holding on a bit longer with the warm weather there. We got a surprise in central california this week: rain in the valley and more snow in the mountains. I'm enjoying the extended spring season.
Wishing you a good week!
Love the rich depth of colour highlighting the defined shadows! Beautiful!
Very nice shadow shot photo this week.
I love the colors and the curve of the railing. deep beauty Tracy. happy SSS!
Time eludes, especially now that summer is here, not much time for the internet, as my garden speaks loudly to me...make hay while the sun shines, is my mantra this time of year.
Love the colors of your shadow shot...brilliant...have a great week Tracy!!!
An interesting curve with a variety of strong colours!
This moment certainly caught up an unusual composition here that works!
My Australian shot is somehow similar to yours. And it's also similar to my American friend (of over 60 years) who happens to be right next to me on the list. Hallo Margaret! There must be a lot of serendipity about today!
great shot! Thanks for having this venue for us!
Yet another wonderful shadow - hope you are enjoying your Sunday! Lee x
I love this shot. Hope you all enjoy my peaceful offering.
Love your picture this week - those blues and greens are stunning! Thanks for hosting.
Hugs, antonella ;-)
Nice shot! I really like the colors!!
Nice sweeping lines, and the blue of the background balances nicely with the brown of the foreground.
I'm in it this week. I scheduled the post to load in two hours.
Beautiful picture!!
This picture is quite stunning, Tracy! I love the juxtaposition of the white fence against the darker background. With the variety of colours and shapes it contains, this resembles a wonderful abstract painting...love it!
I love way more than just the shadows here, Tracy. The light, colors, and composition are all great too!
a nice curved and colorful shadow. It looks mystical.
That's a dreamy shot!
Summer just started here in Denmark, and the sun helps making shadows ;-)
Your photo this week is a "double up", great shot!
Very pretty lines and colors in your Shadow Shot post!

This looks like a water color, the land scene in earth tones, the water in blue. Stunning in scope, the depth jumps at us. Looking forward to seeing you next week!
I like the curves and colors in your shot this week. Also nice to know your life has calmed down for the moment. Thanks for continuing to host throughout... I've really gotten caught up in the search to find a fun, new shadow to post each week!
Beautiful graphic guality. The colours and style reminds of the posters from the 1930s.
You have beautiful color in your photos.
Have a great week.
The shadows are so nice and crisp and the background color amazing. Beautiful!
This is a great shot. Artistic work I may say. :)

Am back Tracy...
Hope you're in the best of everything. Even am not active lately, still I peeped yours n other SSS participants every now & then.
