Shadow Shot Sunday #159

Gabba Gabba Hey! Shadow Shot Sunday!

Hi and welcome to SSS. If you’d like to join in, please do. How? Shoot a shadow, post it on your blog on Sunday (or close to Sunday), add your link to Mr Linky, and visit other players. First-time participants are required to click HERE for further info before submitting links. Thanks and I hope you enjoy the shadows!

Here's my Shadow Shot Sunday #159

Some mid-morning shadows decorating a pathway in Southbank that runs beside the Brisbane river. The dark area in the river is the shadow cast from the Victoria Bridge. It was a lovely warm day regardless of the arrival of winter this week.

Sorry for there being no inclusion of the Shadow Gallery this week as I didn't get a chance to create it. Next week it will be back as usual and now that things have thankfully slowed down a little I'm really looking forward to catching up with shadow shootin' blogs again! Woohoo! I've missed visiting you guys!

Happy Sunday!

It seems as though the mysterious and inviting pathway curves--to where? Only by following it will I know...

As Patti says, your pic is rich of colors, yes.
Happy & sunny Sunday from Helsinki!

Good morning dear hostess and happy SSS AND Winter to you! I really like the way the redwood contrasts with the railing shadows and green water in this photo.

I can never figure out how you get all the shadow arranging done here and yet find time to visit our blogs. You're amazing!!
Tracy, this one is magnificent. Very satisfying, makes me want to look at it for a long time. And the colors!

I think the shadow makes the walkway look as if it has a peak in the middle!
Tracy girl I love the depth of colour and the warm impression of the wood with the rail dividing that blue water yet merging the look of it all together .. very cool shot !

Cool colorful composition.
These days seem to be very busy. Last week I didn't get the chance for a post.

There is such movement and fluidity to the image. I`d love to be standing there looking out over the water at the bridge. Happy SSS.
Interesting shadows. :) LG TIna

The colors are rich and earthy in this photo. And the shadows and white fence accentuate the beautiful curves.

So winter's arrived there? Looks like autumn is holding on a bit longer with the warm weather there. We got a surprise in central california this week: rain in the valley and more snow in the mountains. I'm enjoying the extended spring season.

Wishing you a good week!

Time eludes, especially now that summer is here, not much time for the internet, as my garden speaks loudly to me...make hay while the sun shines, is my mantra this time of year.

Love the colors of your shadow shot...brilliant...have a great week Tracy!!!
An interesting curve with a variety of strong colours!
This moment certainly caught up an unusual composition here that works!

My Australian shot is somehow similar to yours. And it's also similar to my American friend (of over 60 years) who happens to be right next to me on the list. Hallo Margaret! There must be a lot of serendipity about today!

Nice sweeping lines, and the blue of the background balances nicely with the brown of the foreground.

I'm in it this week. I scheduled the post to load in two hours.

This picture is quite stunning, Tracy! I love the juxtaposition of the white fence against the darker background. With the variety of colours and shapes it contains, this resembles a wonderful abstract painting...love it!
