rosella jam

I'm not quite at the jam making stage of the process yet as I'm still collecting the fruit. Pictured above is the harvest from today. Only having five Rosella bushes it may take a while to collect enough to make jam with. Pick and freeze, pick and freeze, pick and freeze, pick and freeze... And when I do eventually make that jam it will be the most delicious gob-smacking yummy tasting stuff ever. I hope.

This guy was spotted sunbathing on the deck of the Dragonfly Cafe. Oddly there were no dragonflies to be seen. Maybe they're all in the belly of the sunbather.

Happy Easter! I wish there were sunbathing bunnies at the cafe that I could've shared with you, but no such luck. Probably far too busy with their deliveries.

I've stooped to a new low using a dead fly as a photo prop! I found this dead fly in the kitchen the other day. While scooping it up with a piece of paper to toss it in the bin I discovered some cool shadows thanks to the sun streaming in from the window. So I had a play around with it. As one does with a dead fly...
