The following photos show the source of shadow...
This whacky sculpture is located between the Qld Art Gallery and The Edge.Notice how lovely and green the grass is? Everything in Brissy right now is looking super lush thanks to all of the rain we've been experiencing lately. My backyard has 3 metre high dandelions growing everywhere. It's wild! And an assortment of other unidentifiable weeds. My dad of the weed-free immaculate lawn brigade would be mortified if he saw the current state of my yard. I hope dad has no surprise visits planned for this week! Weeding is on the to-do list for next week.
I finally took the plunge and joined Facebook. I created a page and it's
HERE if you would like to see. And if you like what you see please do feel free to 'like' it.

It's amazing how a culpture like that gives that kind of shadow.
Happy Sunday!
ps. I called your dad, he's not going to surprise visit you! :)
Hope you have been enjoying your weekend!
Good luck with your weed problem and keeping your dad away for a while! (Hope he doesn't read this blog...)
I love your angular shadows too!
Before you pull them out, how about some photos of those 3-metre-high dandelions for posterity?

cool hanging box shadow.
green, green, green is definitely happening in your neck of the woods. Glad to see Australia getting some much needed rain. Hopefully my State will follow your country's example to diminishing our drought as well.
Enjoy the wildness of your garden:)
Happy Shadow Shot Sunday to you.
Hope you had a wonderful week-ends. I wasn't there to joined last week-end §;-(
Happy SSS...

As for the dandelions, we have a sea of them in the spring but it would take truckload of weedkiller to do them in. We've been able to control them by mowing every couple of days when they first appear, before they can go to seed. In about three weeks, they're mostly gone.
Long time no see - again! Your shot is so cool in the green and shadowed tones. And I love the square format. Very neato.
Good luck with the dandelion weeds. I'll be thinking of you as I tuck my garden to bed for the winter.

A lovely collection of collages again! Thank you so much for all your work for this meme! It is always a joy to be here!
Now about your wild garden! My garden is in that category too after all the rain! Yesterday I mustered the courage to find the pathway again beside my home and courageously cut back the plants in spite of bees! And that's just a small dent into what needs to be done!
Have a great weekend!
Love your cool pictorial of the "wacky sculpture" and the unusual shadows it cast. The shadow reminded me of a Rubik's cube!
Have a great week all!

The collages are slowly turning red too - the titmouses are awesome in the bottom collection!
Hope you're having a lovely weekend sweetie! XO's
Sure is whacky, but gives off great shadows.

Dandelions that are three meters high? Are you sure they're not trees? Perhaps they'll be the subject of next week's SSS!
Really beautiful.
I'm a little jealous of your rain, too - we've been pretty dry so far :)
Also, I think I need to see a photo of those dandelions!!

Have a nice day, Boonie
Enjoy your wild proliferation of green in the yard. Here Northern summer does not want to leave and everything is still brown and dry.

Thought I'd give it a try this week.

I shall be learning from some of the fabulous entries here.

I love the SS. I enjoyed pondering what was causing it...very unique and unnatural. Interesting work of art...I think I like it better as a shadow:)
