Here's my Shadow Shot Sunday #160

These photos were taken last weekend while I was out enjoying a bushwalk. Walking is such a nice way to warm up during the winter days. Except really really early in the morning heading into work before the sun is up. That's not so nice...

Happy Sunday!

Our top temp. today was under 10 C! Too cold to go out when you have whooping cough.

Love your shadowy walking trail and up in Brizzie I am sure it is nice to exercise outdoors.
I'm so proud of us as a group and with all the shadow shots that are contributed each week. Always a stellar collection and this week is no exception.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing so many of us with an outlet for our muse!!

Looks like a peaceful place to walk, and get oneself ready for the day.

Never heard of a bushwalk, guess you were out in the bush .;-)

Have a great weekend, Tracy.
Tracy girl those are beautiful shots of your walking area .. I love the woods and yes, I will look forward to our Autumn (ok .. Halloween!!) haha
To enjoy crisp days .. we are headed into high summer soon and that can be HOT and HUMID .. talk about a yuck factor! So I will keep looking at your lovely pictures here when I need a shot of cool relief!
Thank you for including my shot in your collages girl !

Love shadowy bushwalks dappled with sunlight! These tracks look so delightful! How I long to do some decent walking again with my camera, but my unhappy arm is just not ready for all that yet! I had no idea that a double break would take so long to heal!

Have a great weekend!

I like how the shadows cross the road in the second shot. Thanks for featuring my shot from last week :)

I'm thinking I'll have to travel to your country one of these years and check out for myself what your winter is like. when you say winter and I see trees with leaves I'm thinking "THAT'S their winter"? I suspect the climate resembles our California or Arkansas perhaps. mild with usually no snow. in any case, I love your bushwalk shadows. I want to take a bushwalk - what a cool word. have a great week Tracy, and thanks for hosting SSS.

The winter in Oz does seem milder in view - but commuting to work in the dark is a drag in any climate. That such uch a beautiful walk can be had in such a lovely place as this is nice!

Very nice shadow shots. I like the way the trail seems to be spotted with light and dark. Doesn't look like full blown Winter, but then again, I don't know what kind of weather you have in Winter. Very nice in any sense.

Peace

I was very pleased to see my daughters eye in last weeks gallery. :)

In the last week we could have had some use for your nice shadows.
I especially like the way the color schemes are so different, yet both look sort of natural, in their own way. Love your work, Tracy!

There's something about the shadow's that big trees make, they put a calming feeling over me whenever I see them. We are getting some lovely sun this winter. Have a great week Tracey.

It's good living close to such a beautiful place to enjoy by bushwalking ;-)
Thanks a lot for ones again showing one of my photos!
Deep, deep are these shadows. I imagine it's nice to emerge into the sunlight after being chilled to the bone!

SHADOWY DINNER

A shadow, a shadow, a shadow you say?
A shadow is coming to dinner today?

Oh, what shall we feed it, and what will it eat?
Just toss down a few rays of light at its feet,

And watch its dark mouth gobble up every ray,
But be sure, my friend, you don’t get in its way;

Keep out of the light so it won’t gobble you.
(If I were the hostess, that’s just what I’d do.)

A shadow is easy to feed, so they say,
So welcome your shadow to dinner today.

Oh, dappled shadows are the best! They always remind me of Robert Frost. Beautiful!!
Hi Tracy,

It is hard to imagine that you are just getting into winter (we are just getting out it in Central Oregon!). Glad that you still have some sun and pretty days so that you were able to capture those beautiful shots.

Hope your week is wonderful, Tracy.

I live in a cooler part of Australia than Harriet, but, as a UK ex-pat I'm continually amazed at how Spring seems to start before winter's really got underway. There are some fresh green shoots in my garden already and it's not mid-winter until June 21st! Having said that here in Newcasle it's wet and windy at present.
