The Migrating Birds...

Time to announce the winner of my Make A Little Birdhouse in your Soul painting! Firstly, a huge thanks to all those who entered the giveaway. I so very wish that I could give you all something, but, well, I can't. Sorry about that. The randomly selected winning entrant is Tanya from TLS Creations. That was fun! I’ll have another giveaway sometime in the not too distant future. As this giveaway was to celebrate Spring, I’m thinking I’ll have a giveaway for each season. So expect the next giveaway in December to welcome in our Aussie Summer. So for now, congrats Tanya! As soon as I have your postal address the birdies below will be happily flying your way.

For anybody who may be terribly disappointed in missing out on the painting, you are certainly more than welcome to purchase one of my new mini bird painting fridge magnet thingies by way of consoling yourself. Yeah I know, I’m so thoughtful! I’ve made a big bowl of birdie canvas magnets. I’ve painted a bunch of teeny canvases (5cm x 7cm) using acrylics and have attached magnetic strips to the back. I’ve not yet photographed them individually, so hopefully tomorrow I’ll do that and then list a few in my Etsy shop. So check in there later if you’re interested.

Just following on from my Red post of last week, I was seeing a little more red yesterday and wanted to share it with you.

Yup. It is a little more red than I needed to see but I couldn’t resist taking a photo when I spotted it. By the way, that is a zoom shot. I’m not in the habit of getting THAT close to complete strangers to photograph their underwear. Really and truly I’m not! I sneakily snap target strangers from a distance. That’s socially acceptable behaviour isn’t it? Couldn’t be any less so than wearin’ your jeans half way down your arse. Enjoy the rest of your week and see you in the shadows on Sunday.

What a lively, fun post! And now you have that image of red Bonds, I feel a heap better after posting a zoom pic of guys standing in the Dromana waters in the middle of winter with jackets on! I went through so many guilts about that posting for Ruby Tuesday last month!

Not sure if my comment came through as there was an error. So here it is again incase it didn't work...

So glad that person was wearing undies!
You could get a job for Bonds as their paparazzi for their new advertising campaign.

Love your little birdie canvas magnetic thingies :)

Oh no! I didn't win! Well, I'll have to console myself and wait for summer. Love the fridge magnets and think they would make the most perfect Christmas gifts.

By the way, did Bonds pay you to take that shot? It should be up there on a billboard somewhere (preferably not in my neighbourhood).
Thanks for stopping by, Tracy, I always love hearing from you :)

Haha, I always have the urge to take pictures of strangers, but I'm too worried they will notice!

At least they are red, I used to teach boys who wore flesh coloured undies, so it just looked like their bottom. Ugh. Shudders.

congrats to tanya...although I think it would look better at MY house.

Some people are completely oblivious to the fact that their rear end is hanging out of their pants. Although some do it on purpose. I wonder what this person was doing.

Thanks for having that competition Tracy, and congrats to Tanya for winning it. I'm glad to hear you are thinking of having another one! Oh the red jocks shot is classic - how do these boys know their underwear is clean?
