Shadow Shot Sunday #19

Howdy! Last Sunday the wonderful Paz suggested that we have a Shadow Shot Sunday button/badge for participants to display on their blogs if they wish to. Thanks for the idea Paz! So if you have a look in the sidebar you’ll see the SSS button I made this week. Feel free to use it if you participate. Even if you don’t participate and just enjoy looking at all the shadow shots people post, feel free to use it also. It’s there for anybody who would like it and wants to spread the SSS love! Players are under no obligation to display it by the way. I’m certainly not going to be offended if you don’t! Three Shadow Gallery collages this week featuring one photo from each participant from last Sunday. We’ve had a quite a few newbies join in over the last couple of weeks. Hello newbies! Thanks for playing! Anybody else wishing to join in, it’s easy. Shoot a shadow, post it on your blog on Sunday (or near enough to Sunday), add your link to Mr Linky, and visit other players. Have fun!

Here's my Shadow Shot Sunday #19

I spotted this shadow on my wall the other day and quickly grabbed my camera. The late afternoon sun sneaking in through the small window of the front door created a cool shadow of my fave lamp. I only wish I was quick enough to dust the lamp first. Ugh! I'm a terrible host. I apologise for that. I do make rather good coffee though. Happy Sunday!

I love the SSS button, T! :D Kudos to Paz for coming up with such a great idea, and to you for coming up with such a classy looking button/badge!

Great job as always with the collages, it's always fun to see more and more players. :D

And I seriously want your lamp! What a beautiful shadow shot it made!

What's all this nonsense about you not being a good host... just look at all the guests that show up on Sunday! Who cares about a little dust, it just adds texture I always say! :)

A very Happy Sunday to you! xo

Your lamp is lovely as is! And the shadow effect is fascinating, even mysterious! Very beautiful!

Hope you are enjoying our Spring weather! It reached 28 degrees yesterday for a short time here in Melbourne!

What the heck? Your names not Harriet? HA! I saw someone call you Tracey, my bad!

LOL! Dust, what dust? I like your shadow shot. I like the silhouette of the lamp.

Thanks for the awesome SSS button! I love it. I'm excited to post it with all my shadow shots. ;-)

As usual, wonderful line up of the Sunday Shadow Shots. It's always fun to look at what folks have posted.

Really Tracy, not keeping up with your housework!!! You and me both girl!! ;0).
A great shadow the bold and the not so, in the background, verrry nice. I am positive my Grandma used to have a lamp very similar to this one, i can picture it in my mind now.
Thanks for linking me up last week. I have some catching up to do this week as i haven't yet got round to visit the others, but by the looks of your fantastic collages, again a great lineup and some newbies!!
the button looks great, good idea Paz, I tried to put it on but failed, so i will go crying to Gina later, she knows how to do it, cause shes had to tell me before ;0).
I thought of you in T'ville, lots of fantastic local street art that i'm sure you will appreciate, so i took lots of photos and will get to posting this week.
Have a wonderful Sunday - great hosting as always, i am off to get toast and coffee,(still in my jammies, I might add) and am going bloghopping. annette x

Great Shadow Shot. I love how the colors of the lamp contrast with the shadows.

Thanks for all the work you put into making the photo collages.

Hey! that's a great shadow shot this week Tracy! I love the dappled light on the wall, but the shadow is really crisp. Nice!
Great collages too from last week's 'S.S-ers', and the side button is great - thanks for doing one up!
happy Sunday!

Oh! What a cool lamp!!! Nice crisp shadow too :) I think maybe our theme this week might be "dust." My picture is slightly dusty as well :) But never fear, the dust is gone as we speak. I love the button too - will have to include it!!!

You crazy person...when I think of the dust in my shots, I think of the time cleaning will take me away from my work...the fun stuff. This is OK for artists you know, we have special privelege.

Is dis de island girl (the big island)...ha...cool shot!

That IS a really cool lamp! We love the design behind the lamp too - nice pattern going on!

Love the lamp shade :)

Some really interesting shots, I think everyone's getting even more creative. I hope that lady in the bikini who swallowed the beach ball is going to be ok :-O
Loooooove the lamp.

Couldn't get the badge link to work, so I'll "steal" the pic with my trusty Mac.
I think it is great the SS button..Don't laugh, I tried to hook it up and couldn't figure it out..I am so slow with computers. It is a miracle I get shadows..
Your shadow shot is really lovely..and sure would like to try your coffee..Happy Sunday..

Great shots. I love the pregnant belly shadow. I love your lamp shot, dust and all. It makes me feel so much better to know that I'm not the only one who isn't perfect.

I like your compositions and the idea of shadow shots, so I'm gonna give it a try. I'll see if shadows will become a point of my attention, and if there are shadows in this grey rainy land (well, most of the time). Nice one with the lamp, almost monochrome and then as surprising element the red, well done.

This is my second try at your meme, and I was so excited to see my last week's post in a collage. What a thrill!

This week's post includes a late-day sun gift as well.

Your lamp shadow photo is wonderful. Just shows you how a simple idea can bring forth such evocative art. And the dust adds character, never fear.

Thank you so much for creating this.

Hi T, popping over for a short bloggie-fix :D BEAUTIFUL SSS!
You and Sandra take fantastic pictures all the time! Hm..double happiness, typo error again..that's what happening when it's on schedule plus poor proof reading :D LOVE the 2nd collage...esp the one pregnant by embelish...it's beautiful. Awww... pregnant ladies and babies always makes me want to re-produce yikes!! have a great week ahead...
Ha ha I like that one w/ the pregnant belly. Only why does mine still look like that when there's no more baby in it?
The late afternoon sun makes my favourite shadows too :) I love this one of yours. And I think coffee is much more important than dusting!

Oh Tracy, I adore your shadow shot this week! Your lamp is awesome, and I love how the red is the only colour in the shot. I would happily frame this and put it on my wall. The collages are great too (love the title of the first one). You have such a great eye for putting them together.
