Here's my Shadow Shot(s) Sunday #163

This past week I had the flu so I wasn't out and about shooting shadows but thankfully I had these ones saved from the previous week. They were taken at the lovely Roma Street Parklands. That 'rock' sculpture sits on top of a moderately steep hill, so if you were so inclined you could indulge in a little rock and roll down the hill. And grass stains on your jeans are so rock and roll! Ooooh yeah!

Happy Sunday!

It may be a cool winter in Brisbane, but here is a place to unwind with the nice warm blend of sun and shadow that is invigorating - or relaxing, too. Nice captures, and we all hope that you are better!

initially when I read that you were down with flu I thought "oh man, THE FLU?" and then realized it's winter there!!! and unfortunately flu and winter are buddies. I hope you're on the mend. that second photo is moody and introspective and I'm liking it very much! and the fern fronds, and THE ROCK...great shadow shots. thanks for hosting SSS Tracy, and I hope you feel well again real fast.

I hope you're over the flu and that it's the one and only for the season!

Rock and rollin down a hill sounds like fun and the grass stains make it all the more meaningful.

Thank you for getting my bridge shadow in from last week:)

So sorry you were under the weather and hope all is well now. These shadow shots have an eerie quality, I think. Are you a zombie fan, I wonder?

The shadow of the frond in the first photo actually looks like another fern! Delightful shots, all of them. Yes, grass stains, shows you know how to have fun. By the way, so glad I made the cut! Good stuff!

Thanks again for doing this Tracy! I hope you are all over the flue -- that's no fun,

But rolling down a grassy hill sounds like lots of fun and for some reason I really want to go do that now ;>)

Oh dear! Not the 'flu! You poor thing. I hope you are well on your way to recovering. My partner and I have had a bit of a cold - touch wood whistle it doesn't develop into anything more.

Absolutely love that first shot of yours - the leaves are gorgeous! Sometimes the simplest everyday things make the best, classiest shots!

Drink plenty of fluids and rest, rest, rest sweetie! XO's
You are too funny Trace, have this image of you rolling down a grassy hill...hope you are feeling better the flu this year seems nastier than ever knocked me for a sixer for at least a week too!

I haven't been sick with colds or flu for quite some time now, but I think it's because I'm a recluse, don't get out and about much to catch all them bugs, but I hope you're getting on better now so you can indulge in that rock n roll...it hurts my head at this stage of the game, just gimmee a rooster crow, that's all the rock n roll I need these days!

Have a great,HEALTHY week Tracy!!!
