things makin' me smile

Linus: You're so crabby all the time you've forgotten how to smile!
Lucy: Who's forgotten how to smile?
Linus: You have! Let's see you smile! I'll bet you can't! (Lucy tries to smile.) There! See? A smile goes up, not down! You've forgotten how to smile! See? (He leaves.)
Lucy: How humiliating!

Poor Lucy. Here a just a few of the little things that are makin' me smile lately. The right way up even.

Sipping my morning coffee from these cute red vintage espresso cups with perfectly round shaped handles.

Being greeted by this pooch everyday on my walk to work. He's always ready for a chin-wag over the fence.

Looking up at a sun soaked lighthouse after experiencing a long stretch of miserable weather this month.

Lucy: I'm on a new campaign to be nice to people. (She sees Snoopy.) While I'm at it I suppose I might as well include dogs. (pat pat pat.) Here's a nice pat on the head.
Snoopy: Thrillsville!

She's at least making an effort...

What beautiful images you have created Tracy. How I would love to take that pooch home and pat him while I drank my espresso out of that lovely cup. Even Lucy would crack a smile at that.

I loved this post! But now it is Shadow Shot Sunday, and your computer is down. So sorry. Hope it's up again soon.

The thing that put a big smile on my face happened last night. The first ruby throat hummingbird of the season came to my feeder! I'm excited!
Lucy is such a funny person..but that Snoopy beats all. I just look at him and Woodstock and laugh.
Hope your computer is back up and running soon. Sometimes, I wonder what I did before a computer, don't you?
Take care and Happy SSS..

Oh, poor Lucy! (and poor Harriet losing your computer!)
I love your TtV pics Tracy - not game to try them again myself (disastrous!) yet ... I'll just appreciate yours for the time being I think!

Can understand you're not smiling not with a "broken" computer. Hope it will be fixed soon! Somehow it seems we can't do without computers anymore! Amazing how this happened in about 20 years time!

Having just gone through this myself I certainly feel for you. I will say a prayer to the saint of electronics for you. Hope that you will be up and running soon.

After 2 crashes in two years and learning from our tech that 80% of all failures are caused by viruses, I went and got a new Mac. Hope that way I can avoid having to go through this again anytime soon.
ew, i don't like it when computers are sick....the power button on mine is going out so i'll probably be in the same boat soon.

i hope you're back in business soon.
