60 Watt Fish Luminaire
I wasn't planning on participating in Illustration Friday this week because I'm desperately trying to finish a set of paintings in time for an exhibit starting next weekend. Even though I've had sufficient time to prepare for it, I ALWAYS leave things until the last minute. However, when the Illustration Friday topic landed in my inbox I couldn't resist playing. The topic this week being FAIL. A topic very close to my heart, and I thought it would be a fun distraction. Oh joyful procrastination. Yay! So I briefly abandoned my paint brushes & picked up my sharpie & coloured pencils & did a little doodle.
Inspired by this rather silly joke that never fails to amuse me...
"How many surrealist artists does it take to change a light bulb?"
Answer: A fish
Ensure electricity supply is switched off before inserting the bulb. Failure to do say may cause the little fishy to fry.

two. one to hold the giraffe & the other to fill the bathtub with brightly coloured machine tools.
hope you will be blogging about your exhibit. good luck with finishing everything on time.
on another note, guess what - you're tagged! (sorry! and no pressure of course - i know these things get around)
But if you do choose to participate, here’s how this game of tag goes:
1. Link to the tagger.
2. Share 7 random or weird facts about yourself.
3. Tag 7 people, post their names and links to their blogs on your blog.
4. Tell the 7 people you tagged by posting “Tag you’re it” on their blogs in their comments box and explain the rules to them.
Love the illustration!
