Shadow Shot Sunday #11

Aaarrgh! It’s still cold. I’m still freezin’ my butt off. And there is still almost another month left of winter. Ugh! I’ll refrain from moaning any further about it. Or admitting to how many beanies I’m now wearing. Thinking warm, thinking warm, thinking warm…thinking Shadow Gallery! Yay! The collage this week was created using one photo from each of the Shadow Shot Sunday participants from last Sunday. If you’d like to participate, shoot a shadow, post it on your blog on Sunday (or near enough to Sunday), add your link to Mr Linky & visit other players. Have fun!

Here's my Shadow Shot Sunday #11

An award...

Many thanks to Ali from Charlie & Grace blog & Jellygnite etsy shop for choosing to pass this Arte Y Pico award along to me. One of the reasons Ali gave me this award was for my 'funny’(?) poetry. So Ali, I chose to show my appreciation and fondness for all that you do by writing a little poem for you. Hope you like it.

Ali, the super blast of a chick of Jellygnite,
more Kraft-ee than a jar of vintage vegemite,
some paper ephemera & a big ol’ bottle of clag
a wiz on the Singer, she’s got sewin’ in the bag!
Creating adorable, cute and cuddly Little Jellies, oh-so-clever!
Kickin’ the butts of those tellitubbies or tubbytellies, or whatever!
Always on the hunt for thrifty retro treasures while op-shopping,
many can be found on Charlie and Grace while a-blog-hopping,
Sweet and so very talented is this sunny BrisStylette!
With the swanky little Etsy avatar difficult to forget!

Told you Ali not to encourage me…hehe. But hey, this one at least rhymes! I’m passing this award along to all Shadow Shot Sunday participants. Past and present players. I realise that some of you have already received this award, but for those who yet haven’t, you have now. You deserve this award for your inspiring & creative participation in SSS & the fun you bring to it. Thanks heaps!

I did promise last week that I wouldn’t post any more of my poetry. I apologise. It seems Harriet tells fibs. Happy Sunday!

Hey Harriet, this is bubble babble, my blog decided it would take over and not let me on any more so I fought back and made another one. I'm not sure what happened. Anyway... love your poem, it made me smile! And I needed that after the battle. ;)

Your shadow shot, it's soooo pretty. Is that the outside of your home? Or maybe a curtain? And great job on the collage, I swear it looks like it's getting bigger by the week! :D

what a great poem!! hee hee - love it Tracey! I'm still giggling from it (and I don't mind Harriet telling little fibs!)
Love your corrugated iron pic - it has a very (new) Australian aesthetic - no rust, shiny colourbond, but still corrugated iron ....
And another great collage for this week!
Happy Sunday

Hey Tracy!!! Maybe you should be a pirate, then all that arrrgh-ing (about the cold weather) would just fit in nicely! I love the Shadow Shots collection... Wondering WHY Miss Sophie's picture isn't up high in the column so we can always see her little sweet face greeting us? Please tell her to talk to her human about that, will you? ;-)
